Our Philosophy

The choice of "Tenuta Villa Ornella" has always been to develop the company on land adjacent to the hills, paying extreme attention to sun exposure, as it is essential to ensure better development of the vineyards through chlorophyll photosynthesis and therefore an excellent ripening of the grapes.

In the charming Val Liona, the Berici hills have always managed to protect the countryside from the most adverse weather conditions such as frosts in the winter season or strong winds and hail in the summer season.

"Tenuta Villa Ornella" is also particularly attentive to sustainability thanks to specific timed drip systems which supplies the vineyards the necessary water during the cooler hours of the night, reducing evaporation, water use and energy.

These important features are functional to an excellent yield of the vineyards which produce excellent grapes for vinification.
